Plamenka, zelo majhni plodovi na Sunflower se slišijo zelo čudno, nekako v smeri, da je morda sortni del propadel in ti rodi podlaga.

Pri nas sezona v celoti OK, prvič je močno obrodila mlada Sibley, ena od prvih sajenih 2008 se cela suši, pognalo je pa na prostoru cca 5 x 5 m čuda enih prostovoljčkov, morda koreninskih, morda semenskih.

Crtj, kot sem spremljala, je Sunflower rasla normalno, tako da mislim, da sortni del ni propadel. Včeraj sem našla celo dva večja plodova, ostali so pa res majhni.

Aimini Prima in Sunflower sta zacveteli. Iz cvetov Prime sem danes že dobila cvetni prah in jo oprašila, Sunflower pa bom čez kak teden.

Tudi jaz sem včeraj začel z ročnim opraševanjem. Zoprno je le to, da ima ena - zgodnejša - prve zrele cvetove približno 10 dni pred drugo.
Na srečo imata tudi oba soseda po eno drevo Sunlower, tako da za opraševane prvih cvetov Shenandoah hodim k njima »rabutat« cvetni prah.

Moji cvetita na polno, na ta'veliko sem obesil 3 prazne ribje konzerve in kos mesa.
Verjetno se lotim tudi ročne obdelave

O opraševanju asimine sem povprašal tudi "UI" >> največ je imel za povedat Googlov Gemini, odgovor pa podajam nepreveden, ker je za občutljive lahko delikaten:

Moji asimini sta v polnem cvetju, Sunflover, 18 let in Prima 7 let. Sunflower ima res malo manjše plodove, kot Prima, a vseeno dosegajo veličino pomaranč.
Jaz jih ne oprašujem, vsako leto dam v času cvetja ob drevo lopato gnoja in muhe imajo svoj raj. Lani so bili plodovi Prime tako veliki, kot 3 banane skupaj.

Poleg konzerv sem na asimino pred par dnevi obesil še mišje trupelce, ki je me zjutraj čakalo pred vhodnimi vrati by maček.
Nekaj čudnega sem opazil že predvčerajšnjim, včeraj pa sem si obe asimini zelo podrobno ogledal in se je potrdilo, da so cvetovi pooolni komarjev
Povsem običajnih, saj so takoj šli tudi name
So dovolj "gastni", da jo oprašijo?

Vrtin2 je zadnjič na spomladanskem Gartlc srečanje rekla, da ob cvetenju da pod vsako asimino 2 lopati svežega gnoja in obisk muh je zagotovljen, tudi na cvetovih.

Meni je pa prav užitek vsakih nekaj dni malo s čopičem "plesati" okoli drevesc. Se bojim, da sem bil letos celo preveč priden z opraševanjem ...
Sadiki sta stari 7-8 let in visoki med 2 in 2,5 metra. Je lahko problem, če ju preveč obremenim s plodovi ?!

AB, po moje bodo odvečni plodovi odpadli.
Tudi meni je zabavno opraševati asimini.
